Pisco Porton is a brand that has risen to prominence in the Peruvian Pisco market. Founded in 1684 it claims to be the oldest (commercial) distillery still running in the Americas giving it a head start on any competition. The distillery is modern looking and high tech but still embraces most of the methods used when the distillery was founded. Made using 4 different grape varietals: Quebranta, Albilla, Torontel and Italia. Pisco Porton is made using the “Mosto Verde Method’ which uses a partially fermented must giving it more intense aromatics. It rests 1 year in tanks and is bottled without dilution.
