Aged for an average of 7 to 8 years and finished in used rum barrels. The rum wood influence is strong and pleasant on the nose, suggesting raisins and ripe red fruits. Though lightweight on the palate, it is not light on flavors- blood orange, ginger, and mild baking spices make their presence known. This whisky was initially produced in the 1990s, then discontinued. With the growing interest in small-batch, craft Canadian whisky, it's back in demand.
