The 2018 Cassis Rosé (40% Grenache, 35% Mourvèdre, 25% Cinsault) is downright crystalline, with impeccably chiseled fruit and blatant salinity contributing to a sense of refreshing focus. More nimble and sprightly than the richer-toned 2017, this vintage captures the breezy beauty of Cassis itself, and it is hard to imagine a better rosé coming from this zone. As always, this was produced solely via direct-pressing and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel on its lees.
