It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got an elaborate costume that you’ve spent months crafting or if you’re not even dressing up and going as a “Broke Millennial” this Halloween, chances are that you’re going to be going to — or even hosting — a party.
As we all know, parties are made better with boo-ze (pun intended) and what is more delightful than a well-made cocktail? Answer: two well-made cocktails. Or three or — well, you get the point. No matter what kind of cocktail you gravitate toward, you’ll find plenty of options for your Halloween party below.
Method: Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake to chill. Strain into a Snifter Glass over crushed ice, and garnish with freshly grated cinnamon, mint, and an orange peel.
Cinnamon syrup: Combine 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water and a handful of broken-up cinnamon sticks in a medium sauce on low to medium heat. Bring to a light simmer and gently stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool. Strain the cinnamon sticks and store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
Method: Build in tin. Add ice. Shake and strain. Top with club soda.
Method: Combine all ingredients (except Gin) in a slow cooker or large pot on stove. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to lowest setting/lowest flame. Can be kept warm for hours and will provide a wonderful holiday fragrance. To serve, ladle punch into a mug or teacup with 1.5 oz. of Nolet’s Silver Gin, and garnish with fruit slices, cranberries, cinnamon or star anise pods.
