Watermelon Margaritas Recipe

Nothing says summer like a freshly cut slice of watermelon. This recipe is super easy to make a fresh watermelon margarita. Combine the watermelon juice and mint with your favorite tequila, some fresh lime juice, and ice, and shake until your summer sipper is perfectly chilled. Serve in glasses rimmed with lime juice and coarse salt and add a little watermelon slice as a punchy garnish. Perfect for a 4th of July bash or your next beach party!

How to Make It

Step 1
For Watermelon Juice: Combine 2 cups of seedless watermelon and 1/2 cup of water in a blender. Blend until smooth, pour through a fine mesh sieve set over a bowl or jar. (for added texture skip the filter part).
Step 2

Combine the 4oz tequila, watermelon juice, 2 mint leaves and 2 ounces of lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until thoroughly chilled, about 30 seconds and pour into glasses rimmed with lime juice and coarse salt. Garnish with lime wedges and serve immediately.

Enjoy!
